What does a Normal Mammogram Look Like?

Mammogram screenings are usually done annually for women as early as in the mid 40's and more generally from age 50 to about 78. The screening involves taking a x-ray of each breast from side to side and from top to bottom. If there is a mass or lump, a normal mammogram looks like a lump that has a regular shape and is smooth and clear with a very defined edge. You can find more information .
