How does Blood Circulate?

The circulatory system functions like a the an internal plumbing system. The heart is the pump and it pushes the blood through the arteries and it picks up oxygen in the lungs and exchanges oxgen for waste at the cells. The blood goes to kidneys and other organs where waste is removed and then the blood goes through the veins back to the heart to repeat the cycle. You can find more information .
