What is Near Sighted?

Nearsightedness is the inability to see things at a distance. This is caused by the eye losing its round shape which shifts the light entering the eye's lens. Instead of reaching the back of the retina, the light falls ahead of the retina causing blurred vision. You can find more information here: http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-nearsightedness.htm
