How Big is a Gallbladder?

The gallbladder is about 7 to 10 centimeters (about 3 to 4 inches long). It is a sac-like organ lying underneath the liver. It's function is the drain the bile from the liver. When it fills up with bile, the gallbladder can increase in size in order to accommodate the bile. You can find more information here: http://www.livestrong.com/size-of-a-gallbladder/
