You can get your CDL or Commercial Drivers License by going to your local Department of Motor Vehicles or Motor Services department and taking a knowledge test. The CDL test is usually comprised of two parts, The general knowledge test and the road driving test. If you want to drive trucks that carry hazardous materials you may be required to take a hazardous material knowledge test as well.Another requirement that you will have to fulfill before getting a CDL license is appearing at your local Department of Transportation and showing proof of a current drivers license and passing a physical and drug test. Good Luck!
