Segmentation is nothing but dividing the whole part into number of parts of different sizes.For Example consider the memory size of 30 MB this can be segmented into number of segments each may be of different sizes , so 30 MB can be divided into 5 segments like 10MB , 5MB,6MB,2MB,7MB.
