What is Centigrade?

Centigrade, more commonly known as Celsius, is a measurement of temperature. It is named after Anders Celsius, a Swedish astronomer. It measures temperature by giving freezing water the value of 0 and boiling water the value of 100. I feel the need for a tall cold glass of water.
