Who Invented Bingo?

The game similar to Bingo goes back to Italy and the 1530s. But, it was developed and named Bingo by a gentleman by the name of Edwin Lowe in 1929. He originally called it Beano, but one of his players got so excited about winning, he jumped up and yelled Bingo by mistake. The name stuck.
